April 21, 2021
Just recently the United States Federal Government made the decision that all people 16 or older are now eligible to receive the Covid–19 vaccine. South Beloit High School will be offering a Covid-19 vaccination clinic on May 5 from 4pm to 8pm in the South Beloit High School Gym to help with people in the area who are 16 and older and want to receive the vaccine. The vaccine given will be from either Pfizer or Moderna. Winnebago County Health Department and the National Guard will be running the site. Starting April 27, anyone interested in taking the vaccine will be able to sign up for the South Beloit High School Site on the Winnebago County Health Department Website. Please know you must make an appointment to receive the vaccine on the Winnebago County Health Department Website. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Directions for signing up for our clinic on the Health Department Website will go home with all students on April 27. The sign-up information will also be posted on the District Website and social media pages. Please know the District is not requiring its 16 or older students to receive the shot. It is totally up to the parents. We are offering this site to make it easier for those who want the vaccine to get the vaccine. Once again, please save the date of May 5. If you have any additional questions, please call the District Office (815-389-3478).
