Clark Elementary School Home

Clark Elementary School will be hosting a Family Dance Party on Thursday, April 18th from 6pm to 7pm. We will have a special guest DJ to provide our rockin' music! Pizza and drinks will be served to all our guests. We hope to see you there!

There will be no school in session on Friday, April 26 due to a School Improvement Day. Enjoy your long weekend!

Clark Elementary School will be holding a preschool & kindergarten screening on Wednesday, May 1st from 9:00am to 3:00pm and Thursday, May 2nd from 10:00am to 4:00pm. If you have a child that will be turning 3, 4, and/or 5 by September 1st, 2024, please contact the office at
815-389-2311 to schedule your screening appointment!

Students who are currently enrolled in the preschool program do not need to set up an appointment to be screened and will be enrolled automatically the following year in the program or promoted to kindergarten based on their age. Kindergarten screening is not mandatory for a student to be placed in kindergarten but is strongly recommended if not currently enrolled in a preschool program.

Kindergarten and First Grade will have their Spring Sing and Art Show on Tuesday, May 7th at South Beloit High School. Doors will open at 5:30. Kindergarten will perform at 6:00 and First Grade will perform at 6:30. The Art Show will be held in the Cafeteria during the the concerts. Please come and support your child's hard work in Music and Art!

Clark Elementary School has teamed up with the Beloit Sky Carps to launch a fun reading program! Each student has the opportunity to earn a free ticket to a Sky Carp game on Saturday, May 11th if they read 4 books or have 4 books read to them. Once you’ve completed the reading log that was sent home, please return it to your child's classroom teacher to receive your ticket order form! All completed reading logs need to be turned in by Friday, March 22nd.
