Winter Weather
Students are expected to be outside in the morning before school starts and during their lunch recess every day unless the outdoor temperature is below 15 degrees with windchill. If the temperature falls below that, we are inside for recess. Please make sure your child is dressed warmly for the cold temperatures.
Students are only allowed to play in the snow if they have snow pants, boots, winter coat, hat, and gloves. If they are missing any of these items, they will not be allowed in the snow and will have to stay on our blacktop areas that have been plowed. Please make sure to practice putting on the winter clothing with your student, so they can get themselves ready independently.
